The lyrics of the song are very strong, very appealing. As  usual
Lata  sings  very well. In this song Roshan uses flute to produce
best effects. As I wrote, this poet is one of my  favourite,  let
me  write  the  next  antara  to show how beautiful lyrics he has
written:

        'Suna Hai Ke Usane, Sitaare Banaaye
                Diye Sainkdo Aakaash Par Jalaaye
         Buza Ek Meri Diya-E-Tamanna
                Use Ye Diya To Jalaana Na Aaya'

Lata sings 'Diye Sainkado~~~ Aa~~kaash Par Jalae' in a great way,
followed  by  a  piece  of  flute,  to create effect of ''dancing
glow'' analogous to twinkling of stars!  Fantastic  work  indeed.
You can easily expect that from Roshan.

Otherwise, the film is known for two great Mukesh solos. If I had
not  decided for Lata solos this week, you would have seen one of
them as todays ATMJH! I love them. First the following one:

        'Ik Zuthi Si Tasalli Woh Muze De Ke Chale, Mera Dil Le Ke
Chale'

In this song  Mukesh'  voice  sounds  different.  I  suspect  the
recording  (or  reproducing from old recording) is the culprit. I
guess, the recording must be bad, as even 78 rpm (played by Radio
Ceylone)  too  sounds  odd.  His normal pitch (natural frequency)
appears distorted due to some shift. Anyway,  the  song  is  very
good  on  ears.  Here  too,  Roshan's  flute and saarangi produce
magical  notes.   Those  who  find  Mukesh   monotonous,   should
seriously consider this song for giving a try.

Other one is also my all time favourite:

        'Sataayega Kise Tu Aasma Jab Hum Nahi Honge
                Diye Hain Tune  Aise  Gham,  Kabhi  Jo  Kam  Nahi
Honge'

Mukesh, sings low, with his unmatched 'kharaj' (I don't know  how
to describe it in proper English :(). He gives a little bass too.

Then we have this lovely duet  by  Lata  and  Mukesh  written  by
Indeevar:

        Sapano Me Aana Chhed-Chhed  Jana,  Sikha  Kahan  Se  Mere
Balam Ne
        Hai Ek Naveli, Naar Albeli,  Aankhen  Churaali  ????  ???
???? Ne

Creates a pleasant mood. Yes, with Mukesh! :)

Finally two more songs of Lata:

        'Muskuraahat Tere Hoton Ki Mera Singaar Hai
                Tu Hai Jab Tak Zindagi Me, Zindagi Se Pyaar Hai'

A nice song by Indeevar-Lata-Roshan team. A very  melodious  tune
that Lata lifts to good heights.

Other one reminds me some Vasant Desai composition:

        'Baje Bansuri Chale Saanwari'

For some reason this song doesn't quite win me; surely is  not  a
bad  tune;  it's  just _my_ physical-chemistry works in different
way :)
