The most  famous  song  of  the  film.  An  all  time  favourite.
Everytime I hear it, I think, as if this wordings were written to
be sung only by Rafi and also that if anyone  could  have  set  a
better  tune  to it ? The mandolin is put to it's best.  The only
other music directors who have used this instrument at that  best
is  Shankar Jaikishan. Particularly 1954's Boot Polish do come in
mind.

Finally, Lata's 'Chaand Madhdham Hai Aasma Chup Hai' - is  anyway
not new on RMIM
