Geeta Roy, the most versatile singer of  Hindi  Cinema,  who  has
sung  all  kind of songs with unparallel touch to all of them, is
not with us today. It was on this day in early seventies (1972 ?)
she  breathed  her  last.  Married  to  a  konkani  man, Gurudutt
Padukon, to see all kind of troubles. So much so, that she had to
stay away from music, for which she used to live.
