A semi classical rendition, that could have laid foundation stone
of  'Ab Ke Baras Bhej' of Asha Bhonsle in Bandini a decade later.
Those who haven't listen- ed to this song, I can only say that it
has  (almost)  same  meter  as that Asha gem. But rhythm is still
slower. Also, this song  has  more  classical  touch.  Or  Lata's
singing gives me that feeling!

Film has one good Asha number, that I can't  recall  now.  But  I
recall  is  a  delightful  duet by Geeta Roy and Mohd. Rafi, 'Lag
Gayi Akhiyan'.
