This is a trademark Hemant Kumar tune, if I  ever  saw  one.   An
extremely  melodious,  rather  fast tune, that oscillates between
octaves  quite  liberally  (very  high-pitched  antaraa,   rather
subdued  mukhada).  I love this song, and even its picturization-
Sunil Dutt, Meena Kumari and Daisy Irani (I think) perched  on  a
tandem bike, singing along cheerfully.  (I seem to be picking all
non-tragic numbers  for  the  Tragedy  Queen...  it's  unplanned,
believe me..)

Unusual lead pair, though - are there any more Sunil Dutt-  Meena
Kumari  starrers  ?  (OF COURSE, how could I forget Ghazal' ?? ..
any more ?)



PS I'm not 100% sure of the year- its either '55 or '56.
