This figures in my list of all time great of Mukesh. His delivery
of  this  delicate Madan Mohan chiz is just too good. Madan Mohan
went on record saying though he didn't  compose  many  songs  for
Mukesh, it this first song (yes this was Madan Mohan's first film
song) of his, on base of which he is, what he is! He never forgot
his dues to this song. Mukesh's voice and gayaki-pradhan saarangi
mesmerises the ambient air, no doubt!

Before I conclude a song without which any  discussion  involving
this  film  is  not  complete: Mori Atariya Pe Kaga Bole by Meena
Kapoor. This was a big hit.
