For a long time I believed this was Talat  Mehmood's  first  film
song.  It's not.  Perhaps it's his first hit song. A typical Anil
Biswas tune for gazal. Talat's voice is pleasing to ear. I  guess
after this song, a combination of Dilip and Talat formed a strong
base, so much so that a hardcore Rafian like Naushad too used him
later, for Babul.
