Today's 2nd October -- Gandhi Jayanti. Remembering Mahatma,  here
is  a  song  that  has  remained first choice of media as well as
public for several  years  now  on  occasions  such  as  this  or
Independence  Day  or  Republic  Day.  Of  course  this Filmistan
picture has other (better) Asha number, with this team  of  Asha-
Hemant-Pradeep  succeeded  to  catch  a status in public eye; for
this became a  celebrated  biographical  song  of  "Worshiper  of
Ahinsaa".

(There was one other by Rafi, but  sadly  it's  mostly  forgotten
now.)
