Today is 2nd  June,  death  anniversary  of,  our  greatest  ever
producer-director,  Randhirraj  Kapoor  (Raj  Kapoor).  With this
movies he started his career as an director. The  music  director
of the film appeared earlier in the series too, who was then with
Prithvi Theatres. This  duet  has  two  moods.  A  happy  one  by
Shailesh  and other by Shamshad. As this was the time when lyrics
used to dominate songs than the music,  it's  the  wordings  that
pulls  through  entire  song.  Of course the tune set is good and
can't be ignored. I suppose 'Kaahe Koyal Shor  Machaaye  Re'  and
'Zinda  Hun  Is Tarah Ke Game' (sung respectively by Shamshad and
Mukesh) were other notable songs. And last, my favourite Shamshad
song  'Na  Ankhon  Me  Ansoo Na ?? Koi Dil Me Magar Ek Muddat Hui
Muskarae'.
