I have always wondered why Talat Mehmood  has  produced  so  many
memorable  duets  may  it  be  Asha  Bhonsale,  Lata  Mangeshkar,
Surraiya, Geeta or even  lesser  known  singers  like  Madhubala,
Mubarak Begam etc. ? This is one those numerous songs.  The music
is not really  noriceable  but  it's  the  tune  (rhythm)  that's
catchy; and particularly the words (if one likes to pay attention
to wordings while enjoying a song). Shaqeel  has  always  written
some  nice  lyrics  in films (which are so simple compared to his
private collections). Can't recall any other song from  the  film
now... Perhaps there is one more good number either by Lata or by
Talat.
