Not many songs of Khayyam, from his earlier than Footpath era are
generally  known  to  mass;  with exceptions of some Khayyam song
lovers. This song is from that period, and what  a  song.  Starts
with  gentle piano piece and sails all along with masterly played
instrument. And with Talat Mehmood to sing  a  song  and  musical
sense of Khayyam to add saarangi for interludes makes this one of
the best songs of Talat Mehmood in films.
        Other song that I like (and the only other  one  I  know)
from  the  film  is sung by Meena Kapoor; 'Lagi, Aisi Lagi Dil Ki
Ho'. Very melodious. (Composed by  Khayyam.)  I  don't  know  the
other music director of the film.
