This song has been set to a difficult tune, that Talat sings with
quite  ease.  A  hummable, song. The way Talat comes to sam after
'... Aayi' is quite commendable  as  that's  the  part  which  is
difficult, for it's peculiar steep ascendance there.

Film's best known song is (actually now  'was',  thanks  to  ...)
this lovely duet by Talat and Lata
