The softness of Latabai is ever known to mass; but soft touch  of
Rafi  lived  for  not  so  long  a  while... This song is classic
example where Lata and Rafi  both  were  at  the  pick  of  their
softness.  Although  the other song is more popular (the sad one)
but that is more due the fact that HMV has chosen to  give  grant
only  to  that  one!  This song is no lesser a great as the other
Ansoo song. This song as compared to 'Sun More Saajana' does  not
show  as  much variation in terms of changing notes but does have
better rhythm and even change  of  it  (not  in  singing  but  in
orchestra). I will pick this one to be the best from the film.
        Talking of Pt. Husnalal Bhagatram may require a  complete
post;  it  will  be suffice to say that perhaps they have maximum
soothing Rafi duets (particular ly  with  Lata)  than  any  other
music  composers of their time; with one noted exception of Gulam
Mohammad.
