Song: Khayaalon Me Kisi Ke Is Tareh Aaya Nahi Karate
Kisi Se Bewajaah Itraayaa? Nahi Karate
Film: Baware Nain (1950)
Music: Roshanlal
Lyrics: Kedar Sharma
Singer: Mukesh, Geeta Roy
*ing: Raj Kapoor, Geeta Bali, ?
This was Roshan's second film. This is how his son -- Rajesh
described how he started on this project:
He was was very worried those days, as his first film
bombed and
wasn't sure, if he would be able to continue. He wasn't
sure if
his new assignment will give him much needed break.
One day after supper he went to walk. On sea shore, while
walking
in send, he composed one particular song. From then
onwards he found
some inspiration and went on to complete Baware Nain,
which became
a musical hit.
This particular song, was a runaway hit. It has every thing
present in it, for a song to become popular: fresh lyrics, good
singers, nice tune, appealing tempo through a medium paced rhythm
and lively orchestration.
I equally like Raj Kumari duet -- Muze Sach Sach Bataado -- too.
Here flute pieces are used effectively towards the end.
There is one good Rafi-Asha duet in the film
Muhobat Ke Maaron Ka (2), Haal Ye Duniya Me Hota Hai
Zamaana Unpe Hanstaa Hai, Nasibaa Unpe Rota Hai
(2)
Then there are two-three Raj Kumari solos. Her connection with
Kedar Sharma ji was very long. She sung for many films produced
by him.
Mere Ruthe Hue Balmaa
Can't recall other :(
Mukesh sung a solo, about which Rajesh Roshan talked as in above
para: Teri Duniya Me Dil Lagtaa Nahi.
